Deadline for submitting candidacy

The deadline for submitting a candidacy for the Board of FÍA is 7. February, 2019. Those who wish to announce their candidacy must do so via email to FÍA's General Manager at lara@fia.is

During this year's Annual General Meeting, FÍA members will elect a Vice-President and three Members of the Board. Given the current combination of FÍA's Board, the three board seats can not go to Icelandair pilots, according to Article 16 of FÍA's Bylaws.  If a new Vice-President were to be elected, who does not work for Icelandair, then one of the three seats on the Board can go to Icelandair.

Candidates will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and what they stand for in FÍA's newsletter, which will be published before the Annual General Meeting.

The Annual General Meeting of the Icelandic Airline Pilots Association will be held at Grand Hótel, 28. February, 2019,  20:00-23:00.
