Tomas Gustafsson
Tomas started his aviation career in SAS 1989, and today fly as a commander on Airbus aircraft, still with SAS.
Tomas has been engaged in the Swedish ALPA Flight Safety Committee for the last 20 years. He is also active in international work under IFALPA and the European Cockpit Association, and where he is being represented in two working Group’s on the subject Remote Towers at ICAO and EASA.
Niklas Ahrens
Mr. Niklas Ahrens is an active line pilot for 13 years, flying A330/340 for a German operator. He has a degree in Informatics and is a member of the International Federation of Air Line Pilots' Associations' (IFALPA) working group 'Aircraft Design and Operation' for 10 years.
Representing the international community of pilots, he has authored several position papers addressing cyber-security aspects. Starting in 2015, he highlighted the possibility of harmful interference with current aviation standards, including Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS).
Mouna Bouassida Bouricha
Mrs. Mouna Bouassida Bouricha is Senior Manager Flight Operations Technical at Qatar Airways. She is Aeronautical engineer graduated from ENAC Toulouse & working in Qatar Airways Flight Operations for almost 15 years. Total of 25 years’ experience in Aviation/Airlines industry. She has previous experience in Steria France (projects for Eurocontrol and Skyguide Geneva) and in Tunisair Airlines as Senior Manager Flight Operations Standards. Currently she is leading a team of around 30 international Flight Operations engineers and Aviation professionals. Providing Flight Operations Technical Support to Qatar Airways and Qatar Executive Fleet.
Ragnheiður Aradóttir
Ragnheiður Aradóttir, er sérfræðingur í eflingu mannauðs og hagnýtingu jákvæðrar sálfræði. Hún er eigandi þjálfunarfyrirtækisins PROtraining&coaching sem býður upp á markþjálfun, námskeið, vinnustofur, ráðgjöf og fyrirlestra. Hún hefur um 20 ára reynslu af þjálfun og námskeiðahaldi fyrir fjölda fyrirtækja hérlendis og stórfyrirtæki erlendis. Hún hefur unnið til fjölda verðlauna sem þjálfari á alþjóðavettvangi. Hún er PCC vottaður stjórnenda- og teymismarkþjálfi. Ásamt Jóni Þórðarsyni rekur hún jafnframt viðburðafyrirtækið PROevents og saman búa þau til öfluga viðburði fyrir atvinnulífið.
Ragnheiður Aradóttir, is an expert in the promotion of human resources and the application of positive psychology. She is the owner of the training company PROtraining&coaching, which offers coaching, courses, workshops, consulting and lectures. She has about 20 years of experience in training and conducting courses for a number of companies in the country and large companies abroad. She has won numerous awards as a coach on the international stage. She is a PCC Certified Executive and Team Coach. Together with Jón Þórðarson, she also runs the events company PROevents and together they create powerful events for the business world.
Sigríður Björk Þormar
Sigríður hlaut löggildingu sem hjúkrunarfræðingur frá HÍ árið 1994 og vann lengst af á slysa- og bráðamóttöku Landspítalans. Í kjölfarið hóf hún störf hjá Rauða krossi Íslands og vann að stofnun áfallahjálparteymis Rauða krossins.
Sigríður hefur lokið BSc námi í Sálfræði frá Háskólanum á Akureyri og Mastersnámi í heilsu og klínískri sálfræði frá Háskólanum í Leiden, Hollandi og hefur jafnframt kennt sálfræði við sama háskóla.
Árið 2015 lauk hún doktorsnámi í Áfallasálfræði (Psychotraumatology) við University of Amsterdam og geðdeild Academic Medical Center í Amsterdam undir handleiðslu Prof. Dr. Miröndu Olff og hlaut nafnbótina Doktor í Læknavísindum.
Sigríður lauk sérfræðinámi í hugrænni atferlismeðferð við Háskóla Íslands og Oxford Center for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy árið 2017 og þjálfun í notkun EMDR meðferðarúrræðisins árið 2014.
Ásamt því að reka Sálfræðingana ehf. hefur Sigríður kennt við Háskólann í Reykjavík, Háskólann á Akureyri og við Sjúkraflutningaskólann. Sigríður hefur unnið ötullega að þjálfun viðbragðsaðili í neyðarþjónustu á Íslandi og komið að uppbyggingu félagastuðnings þeirra hópa. Sigríður var starfandi stjórnarformaður Pieta samtakanna frá 2020 – 2024.
Sigríður received certification as a nurse from UI in 1994 and worked most of the time in accident and emergency department at Landspítalinn. Subsequently, she started working for the Icelandic Red Cross and worked on the establishment of the Red Cross's trauma support team.
Sigríður has completed a BSc in Psychology from the University of Akureyri and a Masters in Health and Clinical Psychology from the University of Leiden, Netherlands, and has also taught psychology at the same university.
In 2015, she completed her doctoral studies in Psychotraumatology at the University of Amsterdam and the Department of Psychiatry at the Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Miranda Olff and received the title of Doctor of Medical Sciences.
Sigríður completed specialist training in cognitive behavioral therapy at the University of Iceland and the Oxford Center for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in 2017 and training in the use of EMDR therapy in 2014.
Along with running the Psychologists ehf. Sigríður has taught at the University of Reykjavík, the University of Akureyri and the Medical Transport School. Sigríður has worked diligently on training responders in emergency services in Iceland and on the development of membership support for those groups. Sigríður was the acting chairman of the Pieta association from 2020 – 2024.
Linda Gunnarsdóttir
Pursuing her dream of a career as a professional pilot, Linda Gunnarsdóttir attained her pilot license in 1993, having studied both in Arizona and her home country of Iceland. She began her career flying domestic and regional routes for Islandsflug, operating aircraft such as the Beechcraft 99, Dornier 228, and Fairchild Metro. Linda transitioned to Icelandair 27 years ago, where she initially flew the Fokker 50 and Boeing 737-300/400.
In 2005, she became a captain on the Boeing 757/767 and has since held instructor and examiner roles for these aircraft for the past 13 years. Currently, Linda serves as the Chief Pilot of Icelandair, overseeing a team of around 600 pilots. Alongside her aviation career, she holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Reykjavik.
Outside of her professional life, Linda is a proud mother of three and enjoys traveling with her family both locally and around the world.
Kári Kárason
An active professional pilot with experience as an FI, FE and TRI on various classes of aircraft, Kári Kárason has been flying for Icelandair for 29 years. After starting his career as a flight instructor, Kári went on to study ATC at Icelandic Civil Aviation Administration for a year before being hired to fly the Fokker 50 for Icelandair. Other assignments include Flight Operations/Training inspector at the ICAA, VP Flight Operations at Air Atlanta Icelandic and Head of Training and Accountable Manager at Keilir Aviation Academy.
Education in the field of aviation includes Quality Management, Accident Investigation at Cranfield University and Operational Test & Evaluation from the National Test Pilot School.
Kári is an active pilot flying single- and multi-engine aircraft, including aerobatic flying. To support a busy pilot in his dream endeavors, family plays a big role. Kári is married, a father of four along with the dog, Simbi providing emotional support when needed.
